Messi on the Mynd? New Family Wild Camping Stock Footage Added (Pack #161)!
There's nothing quite like sharing a wild camping adventure with family, especially when the location is as stunning as Shropshire's Long Mynd and the weather decides to play ball! I'm absolutely thrilled to release Clip Pack #161 – Long Mynd Wild Camping Stock Footage, a collection that truly captures the joy, the views, and the simple pleasures of escaping into the hills with my two amazing lads.
This pack (29 clips, 6m 39s, 2.61GB, 4K UHD) documents our trip under gorgeous skies, featuring those incredible colours you only get during sunset and sunrise over the rolling Shropshire countryside. From the practicalities of setting up camp to spontaneous moments of fun, it’s packed with authentic scenes. And importantly, all three of us – myself and my two sons – are fully model-released within this pack, meaning you can use these genuine family moments in your productions at no extra charge!
Highlights of Our Long Mynd Adventure:
This pack isn't just pretty views (though there are plenty of those!); it's full of life and detail:
Camping Life: See us pitching the tent (including shuffling those tent pegs!), waking up to a classic wet dew-covered flysheet, cooking up camp feasts on the orange gas stove (complete with windshield) – think Pot Noodles being made, water being poured, frying up corned beef inside the tent at night, opening tins of beef ravioli with that old-fashioned key turn, and, of course, sizzling bacon for essential bacon sandwiches (with brown sauce - obviously!).
Summit Fun & Football: The highlight for the boys? Definitely the football! One of them managed to dribble a football all the way up to the summit – like Messi navigating the midfield, only with more sheep poo to avoid! The footage captures them playing football at dusk, silhouetted against the amazing sunset light. It’s moments like these that make these trips unforgettable.
The Views & Atmosphere: Expect epic views across the Shropshire Hills, with Callow Hill visible in the distance. The slightly breezy conditions make the long grass dance in the stunning sunset colours. There are abstract, arty shots, night scenes outside the illuminated tent with distant town lights twinkling below, and that general feeling of peace you get high up on the Long Mynd.
Nature's Details: It's not just landscapes. We spotted beautiful wild ponies grazing nearby, followed a caterpillar's graceful progress through the grass, and saw meadows dotted with wildflowers under blue skies. The pack also captures the raw reality of nature – the bleached bones/carcass of a dead sheep resting on a gorse bush, a reminder of the life and death cycle in the hills.
This is truly great adventure stock footage, ideal for telling stories about family, the outdoors, the beauty of the UK countryside, or the simple joys of camping.
Quality & Licensing You Expect:
4K UHD Quality: Beautiful, crisp footage.
Royalty-Free: No extra fees for TV & Film use, no circulation limits (Full terms apply).
Fully Model Released: Featuring me and my two sons, ready for commercial use.

Mixing it Up: Football Stadiums & Rainy Reality Camping!
While Pack #161 showcases idyllic family camping, the library covers a huge range of subjects. Fancy some football action or a dose of real British camping weather? Check these out:
Clip Pack #63 - Villa Park, Aston Villa Football Club Stadium Stock Video Footage
Switching gears completely, this massive collection (97 clips!) offers incredible coverage of Villa Park, the iconic home of Aston Villa. Forget gentle hillsides; this is about the buzz and architecture of a major football ground. The pack includes a fantastic mix: 46 modern drone clips giving you sweeping aerials, orbits, and reveals; 22 smooth gimbal shots exploring the stadium's exterior and surroundings; and even a breathtaking drone hyperlapse sequence adding dynamic motion. You get shots of all the famous stands – Holte End, Trinity Road, North Stand, Doug Ellis Stand – capturing the stadium's unique character.
What makes this pack extra special is the inclusion of archive footage – 12 drone clips from 2016 and 16 gimbal clips from 2020. This allows you to show the evolution of the stadium and its environment over time, perfect for historical documentaries or features. With views incorporating the Birmingham city centre skyline, surrounding streets, and even a local school, it places the club right in its community context. At 42 minutes runtime, it's an exhaustive resource for any production needing Aston Villa or premier football stadium visuals.
Clip Pack #35 - Doncaster Rovers Football Club - Stock video footage
Let's head north to Yorkshire for another dedicated football stadium pack. This collection focuses on the Eco-Power Stadium (formerly Keepmoat), home of Doncaster Rovers FC. With 25 clips (15m 37s runtime), it combines high-quality drone work with dynamic timelapse/hyperlapse sequences. The drone footage provides wide aerial establishing shots, detailed close-ups of the stadium architecture, cinematic orbits, and drifts, giving a comprehensive view of this modern venue.
The three timelapse/hyperlapse clips, shot in top-tier ProRes 422 quality, add fantastic energy, capturing movement and atmosphere around the stadium. This pack is perfect for broadcasters covering Doncaster Rovers, sports news features, documentaries on lower league football or modern stadium design, or any production needing crisp aerials of this specific ground. It even briefly touches on the club's long history (founded 1879), adding context for historical pieces.
Clip Pack #192 - Rainy Wild Camping in the Peak District Stock Footage
Back to camping, but forget the sunshine and gentle breezes of the Long Mynd! This pack captures the reality of wild camping in Britain – specifically, during a horrendous downpour in the Peak District. If you need authentic footage of battling the elements, this is it. Across 80 clips (12m 32s), witness trails literally turning into waterfalls, water streaming everywhere, and the sheer effort involved in pitching (and sleeping in!) a soggy tent.
Even in the clag and mist, the drone went up, delivering moody, atmospheric aerials over the Edale valley. Ground shots show hiking through deep mud and puddles, the lush (very WET) green landscape, old farm buildings, and even cows lying down blocking the path before the rain hit. Featuring fully model-released footage of me getting soaked, this pack is perfect for dramas needing realistic gritty weather, documentaries about outdoor challenges, or survival/gear-testing content where authenticity is key. It's the genuine, often unpleasant, side of British camping captured brilliantly!
Find Your Perfect Scene – Sunshine, Stadiums, or Survival!
Whether you need the heartwarming adventure of a family camp on the Long Mynd (#161), the architectural might of Villa Park (#63), the focused view of Doncaster's stadium (#35), or the challenging reality of a Peak District downpour (#192), the library offers incredible variety.
